Most people DON\u2019T have this kind of access, especially those just getting their business started.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, it got me thinking . . .<\/b><\/p>\n

Small biz owners invest HOURS and HUNDREDS (if not THOUSANDS) of dollars into content creation and advertisements and growing their following, yet they wake up one day to a notification like this . . .\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t have a way to communicate with the people who engage with your content or follow your pages OUTSIDE of these platforms, your business will suffer.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You have got to capture your follower\u2019s information and build a list that YOU own.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Not META.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It makes moments like the above turn from panic to . . . .<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u2013 Let\u2019s alert our customers via email\u2014no biggie!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u2013 How about we send a text about our sale while we figure out our social media?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u2013 We can just call our customers to book appointments; they won’t mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doesn\u2019t that sound nice?<\/span><\/p>\n

#1 CREATE A FREE MAILCHIMP ACCOUNT AND LANDING PAGE.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Add in an automated email when someone joins your list with some sort of exclusive offer\u201410% off purchase, a free PDF, etc.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

#2 ADD A CALL TO ACTION AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH FACEBOOK POST.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Some content is just for fun, like a silly GIF on your Facebook page, while other content is educational. No matter what, you can have a simple call to action at the bottom with a link in your post to the Mailchimp form.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

#3 CREATE A LINKTREE.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As the influencers say, \u201cLink in Bio!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Create a <\/span>LinkTree<\/span><\/a> (FREE) for your Instagram page. Add your LinkTree to your bio and include a link to join the mailing list here among other calls to action and offers for your customers.<\/span><\/p>\n
