autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The biggest mistake I see new leaders make is this, they answer instead of ask questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So when a team member comes to them with a question, what do they do?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They wanna be helpful.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So they offer the solution, they give them an answer, and instead, as a leader, what you need to do is you need to empower your people to think for themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You need to empower them to make decisions on their own.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That&#8217;s never gonna happen if you&#8217;re giving them every single answer to every question they have.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So what you need to do is take a sticky note, put it on your desk, on your computer, somewhere in front of you that says, \u201cask, don&#8217;t answer.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And then when they come to you with that question, turn that into a question back for them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So what would you do if you were in my shoes?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How would you handle this particular situation?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What you&#8217;re gonna do by asking them is you&#8217;re gonna train them to think for themselves.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You&#8217;re also going to remove yourself as the only person with the answers, and when you do that, you can then begin to scale your business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u270c \u2764<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wayne<\/span><\/p>\n<p>PS &#8211;
