Client Development Specialist

Our Client Development Specialist will work directly with the Ugly Mug Marketing team to identify potentially ideal prospects and develop a systematic process of converting them into clients.

This role will include: identifying target markets, working with our creative team on the creation of targeted promotional and follow-up materials, identifying ways to position Ugly Mug Marketing as the only logical choice, following up with prospects, creating proposals, closing sales, and nurturing relationships with previous clients to turn them into evangelists for Ugly Mug Marketing. This person understands that just because a prospect is willing to buy doesn't mean we should allow them to purchase from us.

PRIMARY DUTIES

INBOUND

Handle general inquiries from prospects
Identifying the prospects that are a good fit
Taking initiative to followup and develop a relationship with inquiries
Maintain metrics:
- number of Inquiries (by type)
- number of proposals written
- number of sales closed
Attend meetings with prospects
Create proposals
Follow-up after the proposal has been submitted
Close Sales

REFERRAL AGENTS

Identify potential referral agents
Work with our creative team to develop marketing campaigns
Develop follow-up sequences and materials for referral agents
Develop a reward program for referral agents

Identify sales opportunities and close sales
Handle in-bound calls from suspects (be the first customer contact)
Perform the initial fact-finding interviews to discover customer issues
Ask questions following a typed out questionnaire
Pre-screen and evaluate websites to find prospects
Follow-up with prospects based on a predetermined schedule
Be observant and identify opportunities to sell additional services
Implement a marketing program to existing clients
Check-in with previous clients regarding referrals and additional business
Customer loyalty programs
Customer reward programs
Providing ongoing customer service

OUTBOUND

Identifying prospective clients
Working with our creative team to develop targeted marketing materials
Executing marketing initiatives and leading prospects through our sales funnel
Taking initiative to follow up and develop a relationship with inquiries
Maintain metrics:
- number of out bound pieces sent (by type)
- number of responses (by type)
- number of proposals written
- number of sales closed
Attend virtual and physical meetings with ideal prospects
Create proposals
Follow-up after proposal submission
Close Sales
