 Don’t be your own worst enemy. 

I see this all the time with freelancers. 

You work hard to attract new clients, to get them to reach out, to call you, or to email you, or to fill out the form on your website. 

And then what do we do? 

We sabotage ourselves. 

We don’t return phone calls. 

We don’t respond to emails in timely manners.

We don’t follow up the way we say that we’re gonna follow up. 

So we do all this work and we complain that we don’t have enough business flowing in and then when it flows in, what do we do? 

We sabotage ourselves by not being responsive, by not keeping our word. 

So get out of your own way, right? 

Look for the ways that you are making it difficult for people to do business with you.

I promise you there are things that you are doing right now that is making it difficult for people to hand you money. 

Do an audit. 

We do this all the time. 

We look for things that are obstacles or roadblocks that prevent people from handing us money. 

When you take the time to do this, what you will discover is that you are losing and leaving so much money on the table because of these obstacles, because of these roadblocks.

So spend a few minutes today looking for ways that you are running people away from your business.
