Asking for people’s opinion about how to grow your business is dangerous.
Here’s why.
Anyone can give you their opinion.
It doesn’t matter if they have any experience at all.
They can give you an opinion.
Your parents, your friends, your colleagues, they could tell you what they think about how to grow your business, but you should be very careful.
Instead, you need to seek people who can actually give you advice, and there’s three types of people who you should go to for advice.
Person #1 is someone who’s actually been in the situation that you’re in, someone who’s been through it and achieved the things you’re trying to achieve.
Person #2 is someone who witnessed it first hand.Maybe that was a CFO, the COO, maybe it was an Executive Assistant, but someone who was there and saw it happen firsthand.
Person #3 is a world class expert. Someone who has spent their life studying the very thing that you’re hoping to achieve and accomplish in your business.
