Embrace the Boredom

If you want to be successful as an entrepreneur, you’ve got to learn to embrace the boredom of consistency. 

Look, I get it, I’m an entrepreneur at heart. 

I love big vision things. 

I love jumping from idea to idea to idea, right? 

I love these grand ideas, but the problem is that we sabotage ourselves in our own businesses, and the reason is we don’t love the boredom that comes with consistency. 

As you grow your business, you have to learn to be consistent in the fundamentals. 

So for example, you have to be consistent in prospecting. In other words, getting people into the top of your funnel, you have to be consistent in responding to emails, returning phone calls, writing proposals. You have to be consistent in giving feedback to your team or hiring new team members. 

For us as entrepreneurs, this is one of the most difficult things to do, but I can tell you from experience that if you learn to love the boredom that comes from consistency, that consistency will create miracles for you.
