Descriptive Language

Not being descriptive with your language is costing you a lot of money every single year. 

Here’s exactly what I mean by that. 

So when I say the word food, what comes to mind? 

What do you think of when I say the word food? 

Get a picture in your head. 

Next, if I were to say the word fruit, what comes to mind when I say the word fruit?

What do you think of then?

If I were to say berry, what comes to mind when I say the word berry? 

And then finally, blueberry. 

What comes to mind when I say the word blueberry? 

You see, as I move through these words, as I progress down this list, the mental picture that you paint in your head, the emotions that get evoked get clearer and clearer.

You need to do the same thing with your proposals. 

You need to paint pictures that are crystal clear, help your prospective clients, visualize the outcome that they are after, help them see the future that they’re gonna have as a result of working with you. 

When you do this, you will sell more and you will position yourself as an authority.
