Here’s the thing, good advice applied at the wrong time is bad advice.
So if you don’t know what stage your business is in, how do you know what advice is good for you?
There are five stages that you’re gonna go through as you grow your business.
Stage #1: Me – This is about learning to trust myself to build this thing called a business.
Stage #2: We – This is about bringing your team on board, getting them up to speed, learning to trust in them.
Stage #3: They – This is the systems and processes that we bring on board to ensure that everything is not chaotic. Stage four is the machine. This is where your team learns to work with the systems and processes that you put in place.
Stage #5: Creative Destruction – This is where you destroy any systems or processes that aren’t serving the future growth of your company.
So you’ve gotta know which stage you’re in and remember good advice applied at the wrong time is bad advice.
